Crab, Seafood, and Wine Festival 2016
Every year, during the last full weekend of April, Astoria showcases the wonderful seafood and wine which is artfully produced in Oregon and Southwest Washington. With over 175 vendors and 15,000 people in attendance, it has become a major event.
This past year, Dean Walker, our Sales Manager, attended the festival to see the forklifts in action! As shown by the crowds, consumers are embracing the wine industry, but where do the forklifts fit into the fun activities of the the Crab, Seafood, and Wine Festival? They work behind the scenes to support the vendors from the wine industry.
Norlift has been fortunate to be a part of that success from the beginning. Forklifts are an important tool in making wine, and attachment manufacturers are designing new creative solutions geared specifically for the wine industry. From dumping bins of grapes, stacking wine barrels, and moving pallets of retail ready wine, forklifts are there supporting the operation.
