HAVE A SAFE AND SPOOKY HALLOWEEN

Costumes, candy, and screams of delight will rule the night as All Hallows’ Eve descends upon us. But with all of the fun, remember to stay safe. Here are a few tricks to keep in mind as you trick-or-treat.

Costumes should be well fitting and flame resistant.
Observe road safety, and look both ways when crossing a street.
Stick to the sidewalks whenever possible.
Test makeup before wearing it for a prolonged time.
Use Flashlights and Glow sticks to improve visibility.
Move in a group; the buddy system is important at all ages.
Examine treats before eating.
Steer clear of dark houses that do not participate in the festivities.
