Operator Training
OSHA requires operators to receive training every three years. As the year commences, review which operators need to renew their training and when. Keep in mind that there are special circumstances which can mandate an operator to be re-certified sooner.
Forklift Planned Maintenance
Planned maintenance keeps forklifts running in tip top shape. Depending on the make and model, the recommended interval can either be based on months or on the hours the lift has accumulated. Stay prepared by looking at the forklifts in your fleet to determine upcoming scheduled maintenance dates. Each piece of equipment is different, but if it has been three to six months since the last service, it is propably time to give Norlift a call.
