SUPPORTING CANDLELIGHTERS
ONE MILE AT A TIME
Candlelighters provides support and assistance for families in the Pacific Northwest who are impacted by childhood cancer. From the initial diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, they provide much needed support and comfort for the families throughout the difficult journey.
Here at Norlift, we are proud to support Candlelighters through the annual Ride For A Child fundraising event. Each year, a group of riders sponsors honored children who are battling cancer. As the group ventures through Oregon on the Cycle Oregon Classic ride, they raise funds and awareness to support Candlelighters.
This year’s ride takes place from September 7-14th, and donations will be accepted through October. For more information about Candlelighters, visit www.candlelightersoregon.org.
Chase enjoys attending Candlelighters Family Camp, especially because he gets to go swimming and spend time with his family and he really loves the annual Mid-Willamette Valley Chapter's Snow Day, where he gets to go snowmobiling and ride with sled dogs.
Chase looks up to his mom and older brother and when Chase grows up, he wants to be an astronaut and he loves reading books about space. Chase likes a variety of music, but his favorite singer is Lady Gaga.
He enjoys watching YouTube, cooking shows, and "The Loud House" and his favorite color is pink.

Audrey loves to read chapter books, like Killer Cat and her favorite colors are blue and teal.
Audrey is vegetarian and loves enchiladas and tacos and her favorite food to get from the Candlelighters Snack Cart was gummie bears.
Her favorite Candlelighters activities are the annual Family Camp (especially the campfires) and the Holiday Party.
Audrey looks up most to her mom, because she is a nurse and she hopes to become a nurse too.

Eleanor has a love for the outdoors and enjoys everything from hiking to mushroom hunting to spelunking.
When she grows up, Eleanor wants to be a teacher and she really looks up to her older brother Clem, because he is so smart and she wants to be just like him.
When Eleanor was in the hospital for treatment, she enjoyed the dinners provided by Candlelighters and her family is thankful for all the gas cards they received to help them get to and from treatment.
